This is the website of the Friends of Boggs Mountain, a volunteer non-profit that works closely with Boggs Mountain Demonstration State Forest (BMDSF) management, the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CDF), regarding issues of access, volunteerism, recreation, and more.

The California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE), Boggs Mountain Demonstration State Forest, is holding a courtesy public information meeting for discussion of the Boggs Mountain 2008 Draft Management Plan. The meeting will be held on May 12, 2008 between 9:00 am and 12:00 pm at CAL FIRE Station 60 located at 21095 Hwy 175, in the community of Middletown. All members of the public are invited to attend and provide comments. Copies of the Draft Management Plan are currently available at the Forest Office located at Boggs Mountain Demonstration State Forest, 500 Forestry Road Cobb, CA. For additional information, please contact the Forest Manager and/or Assistant Manager at Boggs Mountain Demonstration State Forest (707) 928-4378.
